Saturday 10th January 2015 - Bread Sauce
The festive period in HK was just delightful. The christmas decor was on a grandiose scale - in Causeway Bay there was a giant snow globe that you could climb inside! That is my kind of decor HK. The presence of my darling Mother made the whole thing ten times more magical, of course.
But I do have one complaint.
There was a distinct lack of bread sauce at the restaurant. When I enquired as to the whereabouts of my favourite festive condiment I was presented with extra gravy.
Is it acceptable to take my own sachet of bread sauce mix next year? Because I am whole heartedly considering it. HK's fine dining sector needs to be enlightened.
