Friday 20th March 2015 - Stamps
My concern about the price of UK stamps has stemmed from my Granny. She feels very strongly about the price increases, to the point of buying in bulk before they come into play. Well I tell you what, she would love it in Hong Kong. In addition to the wild nightlife, the price of stamps is right up her street.
It's now £7.44 for a book of 12 first class stamps in the UK, which is a bit silly. So prepare yourself to feel annoyed, people of Britain, for a book of Hong Kong stamps is a mere 17 HK Dollars (aka. one glorious pound coin, and 48 of your finest pence).
Does it matter that my letters take 3 months to arrive? No. A bargain is a bargain, my friends. And I think we can all agree that on the topic of stamps, it's a firm victory for HK.
