Sunday 19th April 2015 - School Uniforms
There seems to be a lot more respect for school uniforms over here, on the part of the kids. I've seen youngsters proudly sporting pristine white summer dresses, without a hint of mud in sight. Other little 'uns wear bow ties and gorgeous felt dungarees that look like they belong to a teddy bear. Never have I seen a top button undone, or a fat tie. The girls don't roll their skirts up to belt-length like we used to in Wakey. Neither do they whip off their tights for the purpose of sun-bathing.
Amazing, really, because I thought all school kids did those things.
