Over the past couple of months, my hair has become a rather dull shade of brown. So I decided to book myself in for a slight lift, in the form of some highlights.

I had a slight breakdown upon entering the salon, when I saw that their price list including a ‘was and sampoo’.

I was almost certain that I was going to emerge looking like Bridget. So I planned a life of social seclusion.

Thankfully all was fine.
