Tuesday 28th July 2015 - Dogs
If you own a dog, you'd better listen up. You may think that you're taking care of it correctly, by following social conventions. However, according to one of my neighbours, society has been getting it totally wrong. So if you want your pup to be a happy sole, I'd start adhereing to her totally realistic, and not at all insane, rules of practice:
Convention #1 – Collar & lead
Purpose – To ensure dog does not run away
Correct method – Wear a sling around your body with a built in platform for your dog to sit on
Convention #2 – Walking your dog
Purpose – Exercise
Correct Method – Carry your dog around a shopping mall in aforementioned body sling so it can window shop in comfort, without fear of exhausting its tiny legs
Convention #3 – Keep your dog in a shaded/air conditioned place and give it water
Purpose – To ensure your dog doesn’t frazzle in HK's ridiculous climate
Correct method - In addition to air conditioned surroundings, the dog's owner/slave should hold a personal, hand-held fan by its face
Does she know it's a dog?
