Tuesday 13th October 2015 - Santorini

Last week, rather out of the blue, a burning desire for some Greek cuisine came over me. So you can imagine my delight when I was invited out for a Greek feast in Soho. I whipped up the escalator, plonked myself down at the table and made sure the essentials were en route to the table (hummus and white wine - need you ask?).

Santorini is a delightful little corner restaurant, which really feels like a tiny Meditteranean escape with it's blue and white shabby chic decor. I ordered what any human who has seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding would, and enjoyed a scrummy Moussaka (still not entirely sure what it is, but I'm told it has something to do with aubergines which is a sure fire success if I've ever heard one).

I have come away from tonight's dining experience with a full tum and a poignent realisation that hummus & white wine are the only two things you need for a happy existance.
