Saturday 14th February 2015 – Valentine’s Day

Well knock me down and call me Susan, I have had the most wonderful day. I woke up to the sound of a barber quartet singing love songs outside my window, and then a tall handsome man carrying a puppy brought me breakfast in bed. I can hardly move in my apartment for red roses and heart shaped chocolate boxes and now I am now en route to a champagne dinner with the promise of a marriage proposal and a diamond engagement ring so HUGE it might damage my hand.

Seriously though, an 11 year old boy gave me a box of chocolates so I am counting this year as a success.
